Prof. Laumer is the new chair of der Association for Information Systems (AIS) Special Interest Group (SIG) on Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology (ADIT)
At the International Conference on Information Systems Prof. Dr. Sven Laumer was confirmed as the new chair of the Special Interest Group (SIG) Adoption and Diffusion of Information Technology (ADIT) of the Association for Information Systems (AIS). Prof. Laumer has already held various positions at SIG ADIT in recent years and will be its chair in 2019. SIG ADIT is a platform for researchers that deals with the issue of technology acceptance and focuses on both the positive and negative consequences of technology use. The focus is on phenomena of adoption, use and diffusion of digital technologies, which can be investigated on an individual, organizational or societal level. Each year SIG ADIT offers a workshop at the International Conference on Information Systems and is responsible for several tracks, e.g. at the American, European or Pacific-Asia Conference on Information Systems.
