Prof. Laumer appointed to the board of NIK
At the Annual General Meeting at the end of November 2019, Prof. Dr. Sven Laumer was appointed to the board of NIK, the network of the digital economy in the Nuremberg metropolitan region.
NIK’s goal is to sustainably network digital and technology companies, universities, municipalities, institutions and research institutes in the digital economy environment of the Nuremberg metropolitan region. As a platform for the exchange of experience, knowledge, contacts and ideas, NIK contributes to shaping and further developing Nuremberg as an attractive location for the digital economy.
As a new member of the Executive Board, Prof. Laumer will bring impulses from research and teaching to the local digital companies to network with researchers at the Friedrich-Alexander-University and in especially the Department of Economics and Social Sciences.
